How Group Classes Work
- Level assessment: each student's level in the AP course is assessed before the program starts.
- Group placement: students taking the same course at a similar level are placed together.
- Group plan: the topic order, lesson schedule and study plan are set around the group's target score and exam date.
- Lessons and materials: the teacher uses a core textbook plus extra materials chosen for the group's needs.
- Regular assessment: AP-style tests at regular intervals; results are shared with students and weak topics are reviewed.
Our Approach
The goal in every group class is for each student to truly understand the material. Our teachers create a relaxed classroom where students feel comfortable asking questions, pair explanations with AP-style practice, and teach exactly how free-response questions are scored. If a student has clearly different needs from the rest of the group, we may recommend some extra one-to-one support.
